Applied Biology Bachelor's Degree Program Graduation Procedure

Students in the Applied Biology Bachelor's Degree Program are required to complete a minimum of 144 credits, with 6 credits allocated for the Final Project (thesis). Students must achieve a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.75 to graduate from this program. In the first semester, students will undertake a credit load introduction program comprising 24 credits, and in the following semesters, the credit load is determined based on academic performance reflected in the CGPA. Students with a low CGPA will have a limited number of credits that can be taken, while those with a high CGPA may take additional credits within the permissible limit.

The program is designed to be completed within four years, with a maximum study duration of up to seven years. The Final Project or thesis must meet the established academic requirements and pass both the comprehensive exam and the thesis defense. The credit load for each course has been regulated according to the University's Rector's Regulation, with 50 minutes of face-to-face instruction per week per semester, 60 minutes of structured assignments per week per semester, and 60 minutes of independent learning per week per semester.
