Curriculum Evaluation

The curriculum development and evaluation of the Undergraduate Program in Applied Biology are conducted periodically to ensure alignment with scientific advancements, labor market needs, and national higher education regulations. The evaluation process considers:

  • Relevant Regulations:

    • Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3/2020 on National Standards for Higher Education.

    • Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) Level 6 for Bachelor's Degree.

    • Guidelines for Higher Education Curriculum Development based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE).

  • Stakeholder Inputs:

    • Lecturers, students, alumni, and graduate users (industry, research institutions, government agencies).

    • Workshops and focus group discussions (FGDs) to align the curriculum with labor market demands and scientific and technological developments.

  • CIPP Model-Based Evaluation:

    • Context: Alignment of the program's vision, mission, and objectives with national and global needs.

    • Input: Quality of incoming students, faculty qualifications, and availability of facilities.

    • Process: Implementation of teaching and learning, instructional methods, and assessment strategies.

    • Product: Graduate learning outcomes, thesis quality, and graduates' contributions to the field of applied biology.

Input Evaluation

Students of the Undergraduate Program in Applied Biology come from various relevant high school educational backgrounds. Admission selection involves academic evaluations and basic competency tests. The teaching staff predominantly consists of master's and doctoral graduates from reputable universities, possessing expertise relevant to the field of study.
