Unila Biology Department Attends National Working Meeting and KOBI 2026 Academic Manuscript Alignment Workshop
The Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) University of Lampung participated in the National Working Meeting (Rakernas) and Workshop on Aligning Academic Manuscripts for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs organized by the Indonesian Biology Consortium (KOBI) on 29 June–2 July 2026 in Yogyakarta.
In this activity, the Department of Biology, FMIPA University Lampung was represented by the Biology Masters (S2) Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Nuning Nurcahyani, M.Sc. The presence of a delegation from the Unila Biology Department is a form of the department's active commitment in supporting strengthening the quality of biology higher education in Indonesia, especially in developing and aligning undergraduate and postgraduate program curricula.
This National Working Meeting and workshop activities took place in the Sekip Room, Gadjah Mada University Club Hotel, Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The event presented various speakers from academic circles and higher education policy makers who discussed strategies for strengthening lecturer resources, increasing the competitiveness of study programs, as well as aligning academic texts for biology study programs in the era of transformation of higher education.
In addition to the National Working Meeting agenda, the activity was also coupled with the International Conference on Archipelago Spices and Biodiversity in conjunction with the National Seminar on Tropical Biology which was held at the Faculty of Biology, Gadjah Mada University.
Participation from the Biology Department The University of Lampung in this national activity is expected to strengthen academic networks between universities, as well as support improving the quality of education implementation and curriculum development within the Department of Biology, FMIPA, University of Lampung.
