Six Unila FMIPA Biology Department Lecturers Participate in Laboratory K3 Supervisor Training

A total of six lecturers from the Biology Department, FMIPA, University of Lampung took part in the Laboratory Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Supervisor Training organized by Higher Education for Technology and Innovation Project, University of Lampung.

Training activities were carried out in two sessions, namely on 30 March – 2 April 2026 and 6 – 9 April 2026. This training was part of efforts to increase human resource capacity within the University of Lampung, especially in implementing work safety standards in educational and research laboratories.

Through this training, participants gained understanding and skills related to the application of Occupational Safety and Health procedures. (K3), identifying potential dangers in the laboratory, handling work risks, and managing a laboratory environment that is safe and in accordance with standards.

The participation of Unila FMIPA Biology Department lecturers in this training is expected to support the creation of a safer, healthier and more professional work culture in the academic environment. Apart from that, it is hoped that the knowledge and experience gained during the training can be applied optimally in practical activities, research and other laboratory activities.

The Department of Biology FMIPA Lampung University continues to be committed to improving the quality of learning and research through strengthening lecturer competencies and implementing good work safety standards in the campus environment.
